Outfit and beauty holiday checklist you need this summer

This post is mainly centred around evening outfits, makeup / skincare, and body essentials that I am bringing on holiday. Seriously, this is the only holiday checklist you will need this summer!!

Evening holiday outfits

When it came to packing for holiday, I always focused on outfits that I thought would look good for photos. I never actually felt comfortable and confident in them.

The second I ate or drank something, I was sitting uncomfortably and trying to breathe my stomach in. which resulted in overall not feeling confident or comfortable.

I feel like I have now got the perfect set of outfits for the evening time. I can dress up, feel confident, feel comfortable, what more could you want?

Outfit 1:

I fell in love with this skirt as soon as I put it on!!

Because of the wrap style, the extra material at the top makes me feel super confident, as it isn’t super tight or showing every curve of your body. Don’t get me wrong, if you want to flaunt your curves go for it!!!

But when I’m having big meals on holiday, I want to feel super comfortable.

This skirt would be perfect on an evening, paired with a dressier white top, or just a plain tank top I have on in the photo.

Pairing this with blue jewellery would be so lovely as well!!

Outfit 2:

For £12.99 you absolutely can’t go wrong with this dress.

You can tell I’m going for a blue theme this summer lol.

But this is probably the most comfy dress of them all!! It has an elasticated band along the top, which is super stretchy and comfy. Then the bottom is flown, and super airy and light!

This dress with a while bag and white heels / sandals = a dream.

I am going to Greece and I feel like I am going to blend in with the furniture lol.

Outfit 3:

This dress is absolutely stunning!!

It’s a pale yellow with small flowers on it and it is my summer dream!

It has slit in the front which is only visible when you stick your leg out like I am doing in the photo, so it’s really pretty and subtle!!

Because of the wrap / scrunch detail at the top of the dress, it adds more material at the front and over the stomach. This makes it super comfortable to sit down and feel as though you can actually enjoy your meal, without worrying about having a bloated belly.

P.s. there is nothing wrong with a bloated belly. I’m sure every girl has experienced a bloated belly. But just for the comfort for myself, and to feel my most confident, I would rather not have to worry about breathing in all night!

This dress would also look perfect with a pair of white sandals, and a white bag. I even saw the model wearing a pale yellow bag and clear heels, which would look beautiful too.

For my small chested girlies, this neckline is super flattering and pretty and makes me look like there is at least something there, lol.

Outfit 4:

The key is in the name of the skirt! Stretch skirt!

This is the comfiest denim skirt I have every put on my body!

Because it was so stretchy and comfy, I feel like it is very forgiving, and you wont be bursting out of the zipper after a meal.

It is super comfy to sit down in, and you can choose to wear it higher or lower waisted depending on your preference.

This skirt could be paired with anything.

Daytime: a white vest top like the photo.

Evening: a dressier top of literally any colour or style, because denim skirts go with almost anything.

A denim skirt is such a summer staple!!

Outfit 5:

This one I feel like can be dressed up or dressed down.

If you pair this with a pair of white strappy heels and a pretty bag, then you could go out for an evening meal.

On the contrary, you could throw this over your bikini at the beach, or go shopping in a little town with a pair of sandals on and this would look great.

Either way, this is such a good summer staple, that I will definitely be getting a lot of wear out of on holiday!!

It is a beautiful pale blue colour which is hard to see on the photo, but it is such a summer colour, I’m obsessed!!

Outfit 6:

Okay this one is unexpectedly one of my favourites.

I picked it up thinking it was okay and I wasn’t going to like it that much, but wow I was wrong.

The cut outs at the top make your waist look so snatched and I just love the fit!

I never usually wear black on holiday, but putting this on made my tan stand out so much and I fell in love.

I think this would be perfect to pair with a pop of colour, like a red lip, red shoes, or a red bag. Simply stunning.

I love how timeless and elegant it is, but still feels casual.

Beauty must haves

Garnier gradual tan moisturiser

First of all, this product smells UNREAL.

Second of all, especially when on holiday, I will be using this as an evening moisturiser to enhance my natural tan.

I also think it’s good because if I can I wan’t to fake the tan as much as possible. Of course I will lie in the sun and get a natural tan, but I don’t want to do that too much.

Having this there means I can still have a healthy glowing tan! Not to mention it is going to make me smell amazing on the evening before I go out. As well as make me look glowing!

Elf halo glow liquid filter

I picked this up because I was running out of crème bronzer and I’ve heard good things about this, and my expectations were definitely met.

I was wary of the colour, this was the darkest one they had and I was scared it wasn’t going to be dark enough, or it would make me look too orange, but it is the perfect colour for me.

It makes me look really healthy and tanned, but doesn’t even look like makeup on the skin!

I would definitely recommend this product (obviously getting the shade that’s right for you).

It is also so quick and easy, and a little goes a long way!

The Body Shop lip tint

I wanted a dupe for the benetint, and although I don’t think the colour is exact, it is a close match!

The tube is massive, and a little goes a long way, so I feel like this is going to last me ages!!

It’s a beautiful colour, perfect for the summer!!

I have noticed though, that when I use it on my cheeks (when I apply it over the top of makeup), it separates the makeup underneath slightly.

So I would recommend to use this with no makeup, or apply it on the cheeks with a brush to stop it from moving any makeup underneath!

Because it is a tint, it lasts all day, so you can apply it in the morning, put some gloss over the top and you’re good to go!

Perfumes

Stradivarius ‘A moment of bliss’ No 146

This scent is beautiful.

If summer had a smell, this would be it.

It smells very warm, but it also smells like there is a hint of mango.

Which is perfect for summer.

The exact smell in the website description: Berries, pear water, coconut water, damask rose, emotional waves, peach, jasmine, vanilla, white musk, and a cotton candy note.

Stradivarius ‘silk’ No 101

This one is stronger and lasts longer, and it is heavenly.

It is also a very warm smell, think vanilla but more fresh and floral.

The exact smell in the description: Coriander, notes of citrus, bitter orange, cherry, orange blossom, rose, tonka bean, vanilla, almond, cocoa and sandalwood.

Honestly, for the price you cannot go wrong, it smells so expensive.

The body shop mango mist

I wore this last summer and it’s just the best summer scent.

As you could probably tell, it smells of mangos, which is so refreshing and gorgeous. Especially when you are on holiday eating fruit, you literally smell edible.

This would also be perfect to pair with the Stradivarius ‘a moment of bliss’ because that has a subtle mango scent mixed with vanilla, so it would be a heavenly combo.

P.s. I used to be really scarce with my perfume, but looking back on it, why would I be scarce with it? I love when someone walks past me and they smell amazing. So I want to be that person also.

I read a phrase that went ‘burn the candles’, which basically means why save your fancy candles for a special day, when every day is special. Same with all of your fancy perfumes and chocolate.

Because when you are scarce with it, they end up sitting there for months, even years, and never get touched. You’ve paid money for it, so use it.
